PRAYER: Lord thank you for accepting us for who we are. Thank you for wiping away all of our sins and our mistakes and giving us a chance to get it right yet again. Help us to be a blessing to others as we continue to grow in You.
VERSE OF THE DAY: Isaiah 1:18
It has been some time since I have come to visit my own blog and simply pour out my heart before the people. So often life will cause us to become busy or just caught up in a world of things and cause us to set aside the very things that we love the most. One of my absolute favorite things to do is to write. I enjoy pouring my heart out to just about anyone who will listen to my voice. I enjoy making people smile and putting a little hope inside of their hearts.
There are always a number of things that my heart desires to tell God’s people but I believe that sometimes God places something deep within my heart that is specifically made for you. What I love about the Kingdom of God is that there is this hidden rule that no one ever really pays attention to but sometimes often feel that they have to walk into this state of perfection. O’ how I am one of them. I often am a perfectionists and I simply enjoy doing things right and being right. But often times that is not always how it goes. Nine times out of ten I am usually just down right all loud and wrong. I just can’t seem to get it right. I believe that is the beauty of us all. It is what I call our human nature. Although we may strive to be perfect we are simply mere humans who live our day to day lives. Now back to the rule when it comes down to God. God is such a gracious and merciful God. He desires the best for you and your future.
God accepts you as you are and He desires to be in relationship with you. He wants you to come as you are. So what if you jacked it all to pieces and if you wake up the next day and don’t get it all right. He wants you to know that He accepts you for who you are. All of your mistakes, all of your failures, all of your faults, all of your flaws. God simply wants all of you. He wants to wipe away all of your tears, all of your hurts, all of the guilt, all of the disappointments, all of your fears, worries, and concerns. He wants to take all of that away from you and he wants to begin again with you and Him. He doesn’t do like people do because God is not a person but He is spirit. So this means He is not a carnal God that has judgment out on you. With Him the rule is “No perfect people allowed”. Well that right there qualifies all of us. Even if we feel like we are perfect we are not because that alone means we are striving to be perfect which is an imperfection within itself. Only God has the ability to master perfection. Our human hearts and mindsets were not created to be like so.
God wants you to know that you are loved just the way that you are. Now that does not mean that you become stunted in your growth and development. That simply means that you don’t have to try and be someone you are not. You don’t have to wear the mask. You don’t have to try to be what others want you to be. You don’t have to have it all together. It simply means you can let down your guard with the Lord and allow Christ to enter into your heart and work with you and on you. It’s a daily process and all of your problems are not going to disappear over night. For most of us it took us years to get where we are. It took layers and layers of hurt and disappointments to be in the rut of a mess that we are in. But isn’t there sweet joy in knowing that we serve a God who looks pass all of that. Who is willing to give us a blank slate and make us a new creation in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17). Yes, this is the type of God that I serve, always loving, gentle, and kind. Willing to go through depths just to keep me and you close to His heart. We are so loved beyond words. I pray that this message to you has blessed you and really penetrated your heart. I pray that you will help me in sharing my blogs with your family and your friends. It’s all about brightening up someone’s day and helping them through their daily process. So be a blessing and remember that you are loved by God.
