TEACH US TO LOVE

PRAYER: Lord teach us how to love unconditionally. Help us to reflect the love of Christ in our lives. TEACH US HOW TO LOVE.

VERSE OF THE DAY: 1 John 4:8

Love covers so many things. It heals in ways that we didn’t even know existed. It covers a multitude of our sins. Love has a tendency to never fail us when we fail at it. God loves you and it is good to have a clear understanding of the sacrifices that were made when God gave us His one and only son Jesus Christ as a ransom for our sins. It was probably one of the hardest decisions that was ever made by God. God chose to love despite the situation and despite the circumstances. It was because of His love for us that we are able to be reconciled and one again with God himself. No longer do we have to be condemned to the sins of this world. Christ showed us His love for us when He hung his head and died for us all.

It is a human need to have love. When people and animals are not loved they have a harder struggle with survival if they are not strong enough. Truth is, no one is strong enough to go without love. We all need love. This is why God went through so much to show us His unconditional love for us all. I encourage you to think about your love for others. Are you a reflection of God’s love towards you? When we make the decision not to love we make the decision to draw away from God. God is love and to not love means that we do not have God within our hearts fully. We must work towards loving on others. God is love and it is important that you are a reflection of God’s love. Let’s allow God to TEACH US HOW TO LOVE.
