Happy Kwanzaa! There is nothing more exciting than to engage on this particular Kwanzaa theme. Kuumba represents Creativity. It is important that those of us who have creative dance, writing, acting, music, paintings and more celebrate such an amazing time as this. A time to thank God for our amazing talents, gifts, and abilities. You were born to be creative individuals. It doesn’t necessarily have to be with the music and arts but just thinking outside of the box. Being connected to a community, a culture of people, who think and dream at a creative level.

As you continue on your way, think about your gifts and talents. How can you sharpen your gifts today? How can you be creative in your own gifts and abilities as you bring in the New Year? Take some time to not only thank God for your gifts but to use them daily as a means of blessing and helping others. You never know who’s life you may impact through your own creativity.
