TAKING UP THE CHALLENGE

PRAYER: Lord help us to TAKE UP THE CHALLENGE of thinking, growing, and learning. Help us to explore and experience more of You through what we go through.

VERSE OF THE DAY: James 1:2-4

Have you ever been in a situation where you are being challenged to think more, to feel more, to receive more? There comes a time where you will find yourself being challenged by life’s circumstances which will cause you to have to do some critical thinking. We each would have been through quite a bit if we just keep on living. As we go through life we will face obstacles and challenges that involve us to think a little deeper. Some can be explained and others not so much. I encourage you to TAKE UP THE CHALLENGE in life to be better, do better, live better. Think about your challenges and work through them with Christ on your side. Don’t stay stagnant and unproductive. Don’t stay in your comfort zone. Recognize that challenges are here to make you stronger on your walk with Christ.

Challenges are here to build you up, to help you grow, and to make you a critical thinker. So think about the challenges that are in your life. Ask yourself, “Are you going to be intimidated by the challenge or are you going to take it up to learn and grow from it?” It’s easy to walk away. It’s easy to be the smartest person in the room. It’s easy to know it all but it’s a challenge to explore and expand your mind, thinking outside of the box, and changing your thought process. So I encourage you today to be critical thinkers and TAKE UP THE CHALLENGE. Learn more about yourself and more about others. Learn what you like and don’t like. Learn about God and how much He loves you and wants to be with you. In all that you do be wise and TAKE UP THE CHALLENGE, it’s time to grow!
