PRAYER: Papa continue to cheer us on during the challenges of life. Send forth your angels to minister to us. Allow us to keep the faith and HANG IN THERE.

VERSE OF THE DAY: Psalm 91:11, Matthew 6:34

 Challenges will come your way. It’s apart of life and there is no way around it. You must some how position yourself to hold on and HANG IN THERE. Do you remember when you were a kid and you use to swing on the monkey bars. The kids played games to see who could make it from one end of the monkey bars to the other side. Before you knew you had made it to the middle and you just didn’t feel like you had the strength to do it, to make it to the other side.

As the kids gather around the monkey bars, watching you, and the one athletic kid out of the bunch begins to cheer you on. Why? Because all of a sudden while your in the middle trying to make it to the other side the game changes (LIFE). Whoever can make it to the other side was on his team for the next game at the play ground. So what is it that you do? You are not only under pressure but your arms hurt. Do you keep going? Do you let go and forfeit being on the cool kids team? Do you hang in there for a minute, scope out the situation, and give it your all? You’re right, you HANG IN THERE! 

 God is no different than that athletic cool kid who has the power to change the game up on you. He desires for you to HANG IN THERE! Challenges will come in life and He knows this. He is standing there at the top on the other side of the monkey bars waiting for you and cheering you on. As the angels gather at the bottom and cheer you on as well. Every time you shed a tear. They yell scriptures, “Weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning”. Your body is sick, “By His stripes you are healed”. You are up against a tough challenge at work and not sure if you can get it done, they yell, “You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you”. 

My point is that God is here waiting for you on the other side. He sees and knows your challenges. He wants you to keep the faith and stay on His team as a child of God, a representation of what faith looks like. He wants you to HANG IN THERE. He doesn’t want you to quit. He needs you to make it. He needs you to be an example to others. He needs you to show that the monkey bars (faith) is a challenge but you can make it to the other side if you just believe in yourself. You must believe He is at the other side of the monkey bars (faith) waiting for you. Life is a game and you are strong enough to survive it. Take up the challenge daily knowing that God and His angels are with you cheering you on every step of the way. They’re yelling HANG IN THERE!
