PRAYER: Papa keep complaining off of our lips. Allow us to change our own circumstances. Don’t let any of our hard work be in vain.
VERSE OF THE DAY: Ephesians 4:29
As I get older and as I work harder on a day by day basis, I have learned something so vital to this life, people don’t want to work! You would be so surprised in the number of people who turn down my interviews, any interview for heaven’s sake. There excuse is that they already work. Yet they constantly complain that they don’t get paid enough money. The mindset of anyone who is successful at anything that they do is to 1.) stop complaining about it and 2.) you must do the work. Yes there will be moments when you simply don’t feel like it but if you are passionate about making a better living for yourself and for your family then you do what you have to do. You can take breaks when you need it, if necessary. You just have to keep at it until you see the results that you like or desire.
I’m not saying work to the point where you reach burn out. I’m saying don’t complain if you are not going to do anything about it. Do your best at whatever you do and you must trust that God will provide and open up doors for you. He sees all of your hard work and He may not give it to you when you desire it but trust me He will provide it for you when you need it most. When you are at your lowest and you feel like it’s not enough. Pause for a moment and tell God thank you for giving you what you have to stretch you to that next pay period. Remember that you will never become successful at anything over night. It takes time and it takes for some years of hard work and being consistent.
So when others don’t understand you (and they never will because you are a pure genius and gifted), don’t worry. Simply keep at what you are doing knowing God is with you every step of the way. Be encouraged and trust God. Don’t quit and stop complaining about what little you have and start thanking God for the little that you have. If it’s just not enough then get up and do something about it. Only you have the power to change your very own circumstances. Nobody is going to give or hand anything to you! You have to get up and go get it. Whether it is a new job, enrolling into college, signing up for that new sport or activity you always wanted to try. You have to do it. No one else can do that for you. Be encouraged and stop complaining.
