PRAYER: Papa thank you for showing up for me at the right place at the right time. Letting things go down the way they went down so that you could rescue me and receive all of my glory.

VERSE OF THE DAY: Psalm 91:14-15

Have you ever done something really bad that you were not suppose to do? Have you been involved in something you shouldn’t have been involved in? Has God gotten you out of the most craziest circumstances that no one on this earth would know about but you and Him? As I sit here and I reminisce over my past I realize that no one has ever had my back better than my God. I mean no one!

 Have you ever faced death all around you, death of a marriage, death of a friend? Have you ever just experienced a season when everything and everyone died in your life that mattered most. As I sit here and reminisce I too can relate to the tragic experiences of death. Yet again the only one who I can recall who had my back during that season was my God. 

 What about being lonely? Losing your boyfriend or girlfriend to someone else? Losing your best paying job. Losing your family? As I sit back and reminisce I realize if it had not been for the Lord who was on my side, I truly don’t know where I’d be. I encourage you today to sit down and reminisce on all of Gods goodness. Think about the roads you have traveled and how far along He has brought you. Think about the times that “he saw the best in you when everyone else around you could only see the worst in you” (Marvin Sapp). Begin to thank Him for having your back and getting you out of those tight moments and predicaments. Be encouraged and continue to pray for your flaws and ask God to strengthen you inside and out. Simply reminisce on His goodness.
