PRAYER: Papa thank you for my true friends. Bless their lives and draw them closer to You. Let me select the right birds and colors for my feathers. May they reflect and honor You.

VERSE OF THE DAY: Psalm 41:9

Good friends are hard to find! After having such a fun and amazing dialogue with one of my closest friends I realized that people in my life go through seasons. Some are for me and others are simply here. Having good friends who are reliable and who are able to understand your every being is amazing. Having reliable people you can depend on is even better. 

 As you go throughout your day I encourage you to think about your friends. Who are your close friends and your acquaintances. Begin to look at who is for you and who wants to see you be successful. Remember that you are a strong part of who you are connected to. As the saying goes, “birds of a feather flock together”. Check out your birds and see if you resemble them. Hopefully your friends are living a lifestyle that reflects the things of God. I’m not saying that you have to be “holier than thou” but I am saying your heart and life should reflect the things of Christ. Why? Because you are a child of the King and you shouldn’t settle for anything less than the best for yourself and even for your friends. So be encouraged and think about your feathers and who they reflect.
