I CAN ONLY IMAGINE

PRAYER: Lord open our eyes that we may see what you see for us. Allow our minds to imagine that which does not exist and allow it to surface into our reality. Activate our imaginations and make our dreams come true.

VERSE OF THE DAY: Hebrews 11:1

“Endless possibilities,” sounds like a good place to just pause and think about for a moment. Now how can one have “endless possibilities?” One can have “endless possibilities” by using their imagination. So what is imagination? Imagination is basically taking that which does not exist and telling your mind that it does exist. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1).” That in which you imagine is considered a fantasy or a dream and that in which you can feel and touch is considered as reality.

Now their are good fantasies and not so good fantasies. Anything that you imagine that will bring hurt, harm, or danger to someone or to something is not good to imagine. The reason why it is not good to imagine is because what you imagine will eventually turn into a desire. Once it becomes a desire then a person is more than likely to act upon this desire and bring it to fruition. For example: hatred, sexual desires (leading to sin), crimes, etc. These are all negative and harmful to not just others but to one’s self. So be careful what you imagine in your mind so that it won’t manifest within your heart.

Now take a moment to think about all of what you imagine and dream about. How can you bring that to fruition? Sometimes it simply means taking small steps. Sometimes it means believing in the principle of “endless possibilities.” Sometimes it means asking God to give you enough faith to believe. “Endless possibilities” simply means that you have the power to imagine that which is or seems impossible and bringing it to the realm of the possible. I want to encourage you and challenge you to consider all of your “endless possibilities” and allow yourself to really bring forth that in which you imagine. For some of you it maybe a new home, a new car, more money in the bank, or simply mere happiness, peace, and joy. Either way you have the power to bring it to life.
