“Peace is the journey of a thousand miles and it must be taken one step at a time (Lyndon B. Johnson).”
VERSE OF THE DAY: Proverbs 16:9
Have you ever been going and going and then you finally slow down as you try to figure out, how in the world did I get here? Have you ever felt thrown into something? Have you ever felt like you didn’t ask for this to be your life?
There are moments when you are simply unsure of the path that you are on. Yet, you know the path that you were previously on wasn’t right for you. You keep searching and looking for answers and you are still left without a clue. You try to hear God speak and you can’t hear Him, let alone see Him. The cloud seems like it’s still hovering over your head but it sure does look a lot better than it did months ago. You are praying that the sun will just shine already, yet the rain still pours.
So what do you do? You simply pause and take a moment to tell the Lord “Thank You.” There is so much that goes on within life itself that sometimes we have to just be grateful to be in our right minds, at the right place, and at the right time. We can’t complain about where we are or where we are going. We simply must take the journey. We have to enjoy every moment that we have as we travel down that road. Some didn’t quite make it and others have either gotten lost or were left behind. You on the other hand are still moving forward.
So don’t complain about where you are and where you are going. Simply just tell God “Thank You” because it could have been so much worse. Take a moment to take a deep breath and let go of what you simply cannot change or fix. Relax your mind and get into that place called peace. If you can’t figure it all out or it’s to complicated then cross that bridge when you get there and if you are already at the bridge, simply cross it and move onward into your purpose.
Let it be so! Don’t stress any longer but instead have a heart of gratitude. You are on the right path and God has you right where He wants you to be. If you don’t like where you are then remember this, at least you are in position. Some didn’t make it to see the position. Have a grateful heart and let your mind be at peace within. Enjoy your marvelous journey!
