REACHING YOUR PROMISE

PRAYER: Lord take us through the process so that we may be ready and prepared for our promise. Give us the patience as we wait upon You.

VERSE OF THE DAY: 2 Peter 3:9

As the days pass by, there are going to be times where we are required to have patience. We are simply required to wait upon the Lord. We are required to serve our post diligently as servants of Christ while God works out His plans that He has for us. So often we become impatient and we want God to do for us in our timing as if we can see our own future. We often times neglect the fact that we are not in position to see what lies ahead. We must rely on God to be our eyes and our guide. We must place all of our trust in Him knowing with confidence that He knows what He is doing.

Waiting can be a challenge when you are ready to get out of a situation or move forward. It can be even more difficult when you are so close to where you need or desire to be. Sometimes you may feel down and discouraged. It’s during these times that we are to learn the lesson or understand the process. So often we don’t want to go through the process in order to receive our promise. We fail to realize that it is the process that guides and prepares us for the promise. Allow God to help you reach your promise through your process. Be encouraged today as you continue to have patience and to trust God in REACHING YOUR PROMISE.
