PRAYER: Lord grant us favor in your eyes and favor in the eyes of man. Call us out to a point where others say, “Favor isn’t fair.”

VERSE OF THE DAY: Psalm 5:12

We often times hear the saying, “Favor isn’t fair.” This is so true. God has a way of showing unmerited favor that sometimes seems so unfair. Yesterday, as we all gathered for our home going celebration for our loved one, we kept finding God showing us little moments of favor. We knew we didn’t deserve Gods love but throughout the entire day He continued to grace us with His favor. Favor through His eyes and favor through the eyes of man.

Favor is a special and true blessing or touch from God. It is an act of kindness shown to someone out of goodwill. You don’t have to do anything special you just have to be at the right place at the right time in order to receive it. Ask yourself today, “Am I at the right place at the right time in order to receive Gods favor?” If you open your eyes and look throughout your day you will find that God has planted little seeds of favor throughout your day.

So the next time you are able to jump from the back of the line to the front of the line in the grocery store, or if you are able to receive a parking spot when it is the last one in the lot, or you get to squeeze in between cars during traffic hour simply think about Gods favor. He grants you this daily because you are a child of His. So enjoy your royalty throughout your day knowing that you were created to sit in high places because, “Favor isn’t fair!”
