TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF

PRAYER: Lord allow us to TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES. Bless us with the Holy Spirit to help us do so.

VERSE OF THE DAY: Luke 11:13

So often we try our best to do things for others. During the process of doing so we neglect ourselves. We end up overwhelmed, disappointed, or even frustrated. We neglect taking care of us. Have you ever found yourself trying to do what works best for others? You find yourself neglecting to do the things that are best for yourself for whatever reason. There will be days that you simply have to do what’s best for you.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help where needed. Don’t let people make you feel guilty or ashamed of you taking care of your own responsibilities. Instead ask the Holy Spirit to assist you with doing your own work first and then doing work for others. You can still be helpful and have a helpful spirit but be sure to take care of home first. You can’t win when you neglect you. Remember you are just as important. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. You matter!
