PRAYER: Lord whatever fight we may be up against give us the strength, the will power, and the determination to get through it. Be our head coach and help us to reach the promises You have for us.
VERSE OF THE DAY: 1 Timothy 6:12
There are going to be moments when you work so hard at not giving up. You will fight through the most trying and difficult seasons by yourself. You will face obstacles and hurdles that you didn’t even know existed. You will have people who don’t appreciate all of who you are. You will have those who disregard all that you do. It is during that moment that you don’t quit. You don’t throw in the towel. It is right at that moment that you hang in there. With tears pouring down your face and sweat from your brow, it is at that moment that you keep fighting.
Even if the tears are blinding your vision, even if the pain is unbearable, even when everyone around you has given up on you. You hang in there and you make it to the very thing that God promised you. Whether it’s a new job, a new house, a new love, another child, finishing your studies for that degree. Keep at it. Don’t you dare give up now. Fight through it. Fight for it and keep pressing. Yes it may make you look foolish. Yes people may talk terribly about you. Yes you will be criticized and critiqued for what you do and for who you are, but it doesn’t matter when you are holding onto the prize. It won’t matter when you have in your possession the promises of God.
So I encourage you today to hang in there. Keep fighting. Fight your rounds with the fight of faith. Run the race with both strength and endurance. Breathe steadily and most importantly, finish strong. God has so many wonderful things in store for you. It may require a significant amount of patience on your end with not only people, but with God, and yourself. You can do this. You were born a winner and no matter what you will finish a champion! Be encouraged and fight on.
